Here are some of the sales email examples that are in the library of email templates that SalesScripter provides. These are filled in with our campaign for selling IT outsourcing services, but you can use the same structure for any product.

Pre-Call Email with a Value Focus

Below is one of our sales email examples that we call a pre-call email with a value focus. This is an email to send to a prospect before you make a call to them or before you have had a chance to speak with them. And this email focuses mostly on the benefits that the service or product provides.

Subject line: Ensure uptime and resolve issues quickly with the assurance of 24/7 support

Hello [Prospect First Name],

The reason I am reaching out is that I am with [company name] and we help businesses to:

  • Ensure uptime and resolve issues quickly with the assurance of 24/7 support
  • Increase their focus on their core business, and reduce costs
  • Reduce costs from purchasing off the shelf products and addresses key business needs
  • Improve the reliability of business services, increasing ROI, decreasing risk and improving productivity

I don’t know if you are interested in any of those and that is why I am reaching out to you. I will try to give you a call next week.

If you are interested in talking before then, I can schedule a brief 15 to 20 minute meeting next Tuesday or Thursday morning where we can discuss your goals and challenges and share any value and insight that we have to offer.

Best Regards,

Pre-Call Email with a Pain Focus

The next of our sales email examples is our pre-call email with a pain focus. This also is an email to send before contacting or speaking with a prospect and it focuses primarily on the pain points that the product or service helps to resolve.

Subject line: Not performing proactive monitoring

Hello [Prospect First Name],

The reason I am reaching out is that I am with DCR Workforce and we find that it is very common for businesses to have challenges with:

  • Not performing proactive monitoring
  • Don’t have the needed technical resources
  • Do not have after hours support or monitoring, systems upgrades, and production changes
  • Experiencing frequent production incidents

I am not sure if you are concerned about any of those and that is why I am reaching out to you. I will try to give you a call next week.

If you are interested in talking before then, I can schedule a brief 15 to 20 minute meeting next Tuesday or Thursday morning where we can discuss your goals and challenges and share any value and insight that we have to offer.

Best Regards,

It is important to note that these sales email examples are not designed to close the deal. More so they are designed to educate the prospect on why they should talk with you and establish the conversation.
